A Change is as Good as a Holiday
For well over 20 years, the team at Albury Travel has built a successful business and a very loyal following. In 2019, director Jacqui Nelson decided it was time for a new look, which is being rolled out this week with the launch of a new website.
“With this new brand, we wanted to set ourselves up for the future of travel,” explains Jacqui. “We know that the best travel planning is personal, and that’s the message we wanted to communicate. It’s more than our logo and website – it will be part of our newlook office too with more space for customers to spend time one-on-one with our friendly consultants.”
Taking the time to understand customers, then tailoring a holiday that will best suit, has been the foundation of Albury Travel’s success. “That’s something you can’t do yourself with a few clicks online, and our customers really appreciate that personal touch,” adds Jacqui.
Indeed in today’s world of website wholesalers and franchises, Albury Travel has bucked the trend, and continues to thrive as a truly independent business. That means for the team, it’s not about making quotas or pushing one product over another – it simply comes down to sharing a love of travel and helping their customers make memories that will last a lifetime.
That joy of travel is a feature of the website which features some stunning photographs from their own holiday makers. “We’ve produced a very popular calendar of customers’ photos every year, and we thought why not feature them on our site too?” says Jaqui.
Over the next few weeks as the familiar Albury Travel shopfront undergoes renovations,
the team has decamped to another space next door. Despite all the changes, it’s business
as usual for the same team, providing the same personal service.
“For our customers, their holiday experience begins the moment they walk through our
door,” concludes Jacqui. “We’re still passionate about the places and the possibilities we
can put before them at Albury Travel. We love it.”
That’s something which will never change.
