Albury-Wodonga to Welcome Popular Taxi Service, 13cabs
Today, 13cabs reveals it will be expanding its network, by launching a service-focused taxi offering for the people of Albury and Wodonga.
Starting 28 November,13cabs will begin introducing its new fleet – made up of distinctly branded 13cabs sedans and MAXI TAXI vehicles, along with 24/7 Contact Centre support and Australia’s most advanced taxi technology to provide passengers with a better experience in the region.
Greg Hardeman, General Manager of 13cabs Victoria says, “We know Australia’s regional areas are growing, and with this comes heightened demand for convenient, reliable and accessible transport. Today, we’re incredibly excited to reveal our launch into both Albury and Wodonga; providing locals access to Australia’s most recognised taxi brand, and in turn, our world-class technology and safety systems.”
The introduction of the new 13cabs fleet will provide job opportunities for locals who are interested in driving for 13cabs.
Hardeman says, “With our launch of 13cabs into Albury Wodonga comes job creation opportunities. We are now recruiting local Drivers who know the region well and are looking for flexible work with our trusted brand.”
For anyone who’s interested in driving with 13cabs, they will be holding open to the public, no appointment needed training sessions for Drivers on 21 November at 2 pm, 4pm and 6 pm or 22 November at 9 am at Quest Albury on Townsend, 450 Townsend Street, Albury. On 28 November, 13cabs will start taking passengers in Albury and Wodonga and can be booked by downloading the 13cabs app or book by calling on 13 2227. Passengers have the option to pay for their ride via the 13cabs app with a credit card, Cabcharge Fastcard or the newly launched feature, Quick Ride with Apple Pay.
