Library Lovers’ Day Story Writing Competition 2019
This year, ALIA is running a 200-word flash fiction story competition. The story can be about anything it just has to start with the writing prompt 'there was love to be found in the library'.
Submissions should be sent through in a word or basic text document in a standard font and size and are open to everyone. Submissions are due by 5:00pm AEDT on 21 February 2019.
Winners will be chosen at the sole discretion of ALIA and will be notified in early May.
By entering the competition, you agree to give ALIA the right to publish the work in its entirety for promotional purposes online and in print. Copyright of the work remains with the author. For full terms and conditions please see the website.
As always, ALIA will be asking all library and information professionals to share their Library Lovers' Day stories on social media, using the hashtag #LibraryLoversDay.
