The scholarship will provide $30,000 worth of funding over two years to help a talented female opera singer in Australia boost their career. “The Harding Miller Foundation is very proud to be funding an Operatic scholarship for Australian women this year. At Harding Miller Foundation we are on a mission to help support women in education and the arts and our new Operatic Scholarship is a wonderful way of doing this. The scholarship is available to any mid-career female opera singers and will provide the successful applicant with $30,000 worth of support over the next two years,” says Cara Varian CEO of Harding Miller Foundation.

They may choose to use the funding to help with course or tuition fees, living expenses, audition expenses or travel expenses. This is a great opportunity and we encourage any female opera singers to jump online and apply before the end of this month,” adds Cara.
