Morning Lecture: Leading Female Sculptors

In the context of current exhibitions by Sarah Goffman, Linda Lees, and Susie Losch, Sophie Holvast will present an overview of the historical and ongoing contribution of pioneering female sculptors to the development of the medium.
Evening Lecture: 20th Century Modernism (but why stop there?)

An overview of key developments in sculptural practice from 1900 to the sixties(ish), presented by Michael Moran.
Evening Lecture: Sculpture Post Duchamp (from urinals to thin air)
Thursday 30 May - 6.00pm – 7.00pm
When a urinal was signed and placed in a gallery, ideas of what constituted an artwork changed irrevocably. From that point on, artists have continued to challenge the sculptural form.
