Getting to Albury Wodonga

There are a number of options for travelling to Albury Wodonga, allowing you to choose your own path to this wonderful location on the Murray River.

Should you choose to travel by air, Qantas, Virgin Australia and Regional Express all provide services to Albury Airport. Once you’ve landed, Albury city centre is only ten minutes from you, while Wodonga city centre is just 15 minutes. Both of these hubs are easily accessible by local public transport.

If you prefer to glide on the country rails, you can pick up the train to Albury along the major railway link between Sydney’s Central Station and Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station.

Of course, you may wish to drive, take your time and soak in the sights along the way.

Once you arrive in Albury Wodonga, you will find Albury city centre and Wodonga city centre just over ten minutes apart. Visitors to the area should definitely allow time to visit both sides of the river, as each part has its own unique historic, cultural and entertainment offerings.
